You know Zappa's standard engine. Well-behaved, perfectly fashionable, and Precise. Every sentence defensible down to the pixels in your reference image. Words like leaning, relaxed, or sensual? Forbidden. Even "she wears" was not allowed — only: "sleeveless woven garment with visible grain."
Technically perfect. But honestly? It felt like a manual. Not an editorial.
As if you sent a photographer into the studio with nothing but a tape measure.
So NEW: Edgy mode
New toggle under Modules in: Zappa Engine. Turn it on, and everything changes:
The temperature goes from 0.2 to 0.55 — from robotic to creative. Pose is no longer just "torso rotated 15°" but gains attitude: a provocative angle, an arched back. Wardrobe is no longer about material, but about how it drapes, reveals, clings. Skin can finally be named: exposed collarbone, décolletage, shadows on skin. And "she wears" is simply allowed again.
The goal is no longer "a real photographer could have shot this." The goal is VOGUE Italia. Dazed. CR Fashion Book. Bold, without apology.
Nothing gets toned down
The most important rule of Edgy: the engine must not soften your image.
Never replace "revealed" with "visible." Never replace "skin-tight" with "tailored." Never add clothing that is not there. Never omit body details because they feel "too intimate."
What is in your image goes into the prompt. Period.
What does remain
Your face, your hair, your identity — the identity lock remains firmly in place. Nothing is invented that is not in the image. And mood must always be grounded in physical evidence.
Same Zappa. Different language.
Same photo, different story
Standard engine: "The upper body rotates upward, the chest facing the camera. The zoom shifted high over the upper thigh."
Edgy engine: "Her body reclines in a loose arch through chest and stomach — relaxed, physical, present. The neckline opens deep, revealing collarbone and décolletage."
Same image. Same facts. But the second gives your image generator nerve, tension, and life.
The first describes a photo. The second directs one.
